Should be easy to guess what it is. Every photographer has to try this at least once and I think I did it fairly nicely. Some brightness/contrast adjustments and other corrections in PSP.

I don't usually use song/album titles for my art, but this I borrowed from Etnica, it's a great album and the name seemed to fit with the brain-like alien mass.

This is a pretty cool idea... you managed to obscure pretty well that it is the wax of a lava lamp... only the slight refractive streaks of the glass and the light direction give it away. Have you tried lighting it with an external light source? I think that could also turn out pretty nice, maybe backlit :)

Yeah, I could try it with a lamp some day, though my red lava lamp doesn't look as cool as this one.

this is a killer work... wait so you're into Etnica? Have you discovered Shpongle yet? its not as fast-paced at times but the sonic wizardry seems to impress any artistic mind

Thanks. I'm not too much into Shpongle. I like psy and and ambient, but not too fond of psy chill and dub-like stuff. But sometimes Shpongle is nice. Like in the famous Danny Gomez Flash (which seems to have oddly disappeared, now that I tried to find it).
