Pilgrimage to Egypt

This was my entry to the Pilgrimage demoparty held in Salt Lake City, Utah last weekend. I'd like to give big thanks to the Northern Dragons, in particular Polaris and *patgroove for submitting my entry to the Textmode graphics compo. I placed #3.

I used a picture as the reference material, but this is much simpler than the original design (as not to make it messy) and I incorporated some other changes as well. Perhaps I should have used a thicker line for the outline of the face. Remember that this is supposed to resemble the Egyptian style of art, thus the anatomically incorrect position of the eye.
