Astral Apple

I was not supposed to submit any more stuff before my trip, but I want to participate in a contest with this piece and it closes while I'm away. This is something I drew with JavE for Altparty's Think Different day, which was essentially an apple-themed party for Apple's 30th birthday.

I got the idea from someone who used the words "astral apple" (in Finnish) on IRC. I really like the way the faces turned out, not so happy with the other detail. I'd have gone for more detailed patterns had I had more time and inspiration. Seeing them as sperm only proves you have a dirty mind. You can think they're snakes, that creates some symbolism. I think this probably counts as surreal ASCII art?
