Fuckings to ^patgroove (and $Moonbeam13 for her complete lack of judgement, shameless lies and other gross displays of incompetence - maybe next time we'll have a 13-year emo poet directing literature or a webcam whore directing photography?) for ruining the textmode art galleries that he was never qualified to direct, but I still have a few submissions to make, including my 10-year ASCII anniversary piece from August (which I would have submitted already, but there's one part I'd like to fix first, but I haven't had the time for it yet.

Actually this piece would need a lot of fixes too since I'm not happy with some parts and I even noticed some nasty glitches in the antialiasing, but considering how I almost never bother with small fixes consider it finished. This picture was my entry to the ASCII compo at the Polish demoparty Riverwash and it placed #2.

While I'm at it I'll also announce here that there will be no more TextCanvas, unless jSepia continues with it by himself (I haven't spoken to him yet about it so I won't speak for him, only for myself). The galleries have turned into abominations of what they should be and I have no intent in trying to rescue something that's in a state of inevitable death spiral. Instead of browsing them you should browse alt.ascii-art instead, and you can easily find numerous excellent ANSI galleries online.
